Auxiliary Will Award Scholarships to Students in Health Care

St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary invites students pursuing a career in health care to apply for a scholarship for next academic year. The auxiliary awards scholarships not only to offer financial support to students interested in health care but also to stimulate interest in working at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Scholarship amounts will be based on the number of awardees. Students enrolled in programs for dietetics, nursing, respiratory therapy, medical record library science, x-ray technology and several others are eligible to apply. Awards are granted based on academic merit, financial need, career interest, and aptitude.

The deadline to apply is March 31.

Complete scholarship guidelines and a scholarship application are available online at www.stjosephshighland.org/scholarships. Applications, however, must be printed and submitted by mail. Applications also are available in St. Joseph’s Hospital gift shop, which is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.
