Spring Gala

Join Us for the Ultimate Cocktail Party

Friday, April 24, 2015!

Members of the Spring Gala planning committee at the 2014 Spring Gala.

The Friends of St. Joseph’s Hospital is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Spring Gala by shaking things up this year and turning Gala into the Ultimate Cocktail Party. The Spring Gala, which will be held on Friday, April 24, will be taking on a new look and feel this year to celebrate this milestone event.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Friends of St. Joseph's Hospital Spring Gala will be held at the Lindendale Ballroom in Highland. This year, however, guests will be treated to a more engaging, social atmosphere that will promote mingling and conversation with all guests. Changes to the event include moving to a tapas style dinner with different food stations located throughout the ballroom, a cocktail station where guests can watch high-end selections created, a craft beer station, and seating that will allow guests to move around and mingle throughout the evening.

During the past nine years, the Friends of St. Joseph's Hospital Spring Gala has raised more than $550,000 through event sponsorships and attendance. Money raised by the Friends of St. Joseph’s Hospital buys equipment including the latest diagnostic technology for cancer and women's health, such as stereotactic breast biopsies. Contributions last year enabled us to equip the new St. Joseph's Hospital with state-of-the-art technology and services. Gifts support the Friends Van, a community service that helps seniors get to and from appointments safely, as well as charity care for those who cannot afford healthcare. Through the continued and generous support of sponsors during the Gala’s first nine years, the hospital’s mission of promoting the healing ministry of Jesus Christ has continued to flourish.
