Hospital to offer Great Books at Great Prices
Novels in their second lives are every bit as fun to read as novels in their first. They cost less, too!
St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary offers you the opportunity to build your inventory of books from the recently released and long-ago released at its annual Used Book Bazaar in the hospital’s Jehle Hall.
The sale is Feb. 7-9. On Thursday, Feb. 7th, the sale is 1 to 5 p.m., and admission is $2. On Friday, Feb. 8, book sale hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and admission is free. On Saturday, Feb. 9, you can buy a bag of books for $1 from 9 to 11 a.m. That day also is free admission.
Book prices start as low as a dime. Among books for sale are several recent releases in hardcover and an impressive selection of mysteries, cookbooks, craft books, non-fiction, children’s books and much more. Also for sale will be puzzles, videos, records, cassettes and miscellaneous items.
